As the Deer Panteth...

As the Deer Panteth for the Water
(Click to hear music)

Written by Martin Nystrom

Psalm 42:1
"As the hart panteth after the water brooks,
so panteth my soul after thee, O God."

As the deer panteth for the water,
So my soul longs after you.
You alone are my hearts desire,
And I long to worship You.

Chorus
You alone are my strength, my shield;
To You alone may my spirit yield.
You alone are my hearts desire,
and I long to worship You.

I want you more than gold or silver,
Only You can satisfy.
You alone are the real joy giver
And the apple of my eye.

Chorus
You alone are my strength, my shield;
To You alone may my spirit yield.
You alone are my hearts desire,
and I long to worship You.

You're my friend and You're my brother,
Even though you are a King.
I love You more than any other
So much more than anything.

Chorus
You alone are my strength, my shield;
To You alone may my spirit yield.
You alone are my hearts desire,
and I long to worship You.

Hi Pat I followed the link in Christian Photographers here. I knew I would find As the Deer Panteth song but that photos is absloutely fabulous. How di I get a blog here?

Marilyn, it's easy.

Just go to http://help.blogger.com/ and follow the steps. Think about your name first very carefully and then see if it's available.

I'm so enjoying my blogs.

Absolutely gorgeous shot! Did you take it, Pat?

How do you get the water in the waterfall to look like that?

These verses are among my favourites from the Bible.

Bless you, :)

Karen, I'd have to look up the settings in the EXIF but I was experimenting on various settings taking the little falls. It was right after I got this new camera and I've been working hard trying to learn it.
